on that morning i had to go to a public service for some questions. it’s known to be one of those places where you need to wait hours and there’s no way around it. i waited for 4 hours and gave up, i couldn’t wait more and i didn’t want to wait more. so i grabbed myself and went for a lunch with mr twiggs! but while i waited and while i had like 130 people ahead of me, i came outside for a walk and for some pictures! this was what i saw that morning!
i live here and still these yellow trams get me! so charming and classical! and i love to ride in them as well, it’s a whole different perspective, though riding them during summer is way much better! windows are open, you get some sun on your face, the wind is nice… oh summer days in lisbon!
i remember being sat near this fountain having one of the lousiest expresso i’ve ever had! and i have traveled through europe where in general coffee is pretty bad, except maybe for italy, where i’ve never been and for what i heard their coffee is delicious! this one on this place was expensive (1€) and so so bad!
can i also call for your attention to that same picture, because i have no idea what happened but it came out with an effect that seems the opposite of holga’s classical features. it looks sharp on the corners and blurry in the middle! i find it so pretty! can you also see that?
oh charming charming hotel! i was never inside, but from the outside is charming enough! look at these huge windows and the whole facade! isn’t this gorgeous! i love the way the sun light appears and is spread on the signage of the hotel! this is one of the most expensive avenues per square meter in europe, i guess. this is where gucci, louis vuitton, the stock market, prada, dolce & gabanna, among others are placed in lisbon. well, this is like our 5th avenue, yes that’s it!
